Description: This happens to be me. As stated in my sidebar, I'm 23 and I live in my own apartment in Albuquerque. My birthday is September 1st, making me a Virgo. I like Japanese cuisine, culture, and music, though I'm not as big of an anime fan as I used to be. I actually find I enjoy video games much more. I'm a fan of Final Fantasy and Seiken Densetsu. I'm a pretty simple gal, I like to write, design, and play games both online and offline. I'm really not sure what I want to do with myself for the rest of my life. I'd like a family, but only if my life works out in a way that it'd be feasible. I'm allergic to citrus fruits. I'm not religious and am pretty much a true agnostic. I'm overweight, but I'm working on changing that. I have PCOS. I drive a Ford Focus, I love sushi, and my favorite color is pink. Nice to meet you!

Description: Jesse and I met online in April of 2005. In November/December of 2005, we started talking a lot more one-on-one. Eventually we fell for one another and on December 15th we went official. I didn't get to see him in person until April 10th of 2006, and that was honestly the best week of my life. I'm head-over-heels for him, enough that this long distance thing is definitely worth it. He lives in Tijuana and is going to college there, so we only get to see each other every four months or so. He's four years older than me, and his birthday is September 10th, making him a Virgo as well. He likes video games as well and loves L5R. He's truly one of the most incredible people I've ever met.

Description: Jen and I met in 7th grade, though we didn't actually become friends until 8th grade or so. We were in choir together. Throughout the years of high school, college, and finally growing up, we've stuck together. A lot of my other friendships have dissolved, but this one hasn't, and that makes me very happy. I still get frustrated with her now and then, but hey, no friendship is perfect. She's 23 as well, though born in January and an Aquarius. She's still very much into anime and is kind of goofy. She uses Japanese a lot in every day conversation, which can be a bit unsettling coming from a redheaded, blue-eyed girl with freckles. But I wouldn't have her any other way.

Description: Jen's friend and roommate from her senior year of college and my friend too! Jen met Teresa at New Mexico Tech when she attended, and I met her the next year when I enrolled. She's an absolute dear, but she has absolutely no luck with men. :( Hope you find a good one some day, Teresa.

Relation: Cats!
Description: My kitties had a hard start to life. They were born to my parents' cat Callie, and were the two smallest of the seven kittens in the litter. A few days after their birth, we found out that four of the kittens, including these two, were tangled up in each other by their umbilical cords. While the other two were fine, these two had their legs trapped in the mess. Each of them had to have their back right leg amputated, and they've been tripod kitties ever since. I took them with me when I moved because I didn't want them to be outside cats and I didn't trust anyone else with them. (Some of the ones who wanted Rabbie wanted her to have kittens! A three-legged, tiny cat having to go through that? Not going to happen.) Now they live with me in my apartment. I keep a photo gallery of them going here.

Kellie, Isaiah, Mike, Aubrey

Relation: Coworkers
Description: These are the people I work with. Kellie is my manager, she's two years older than me, and she's pretty cool to work for. I rarely complain about her. Isaiah is another coworker of mine who does the drafting for the company. He's silly and goofy and just as much of a geek as I am-- we talk anime and video games and sushi a lot. Mike is our inspector, and he's really nice even if I don't see him very often. Aubrey is the big boss. He seems to like me, and I'm glad, because he can be really scary when he's not happy with you.

My name is Heather. I'm 23 years old. I have two cats, a boyfriend, and a job at a local erosion control and compliance firm. I live on my own in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I really don't intend to spend the rest of my life here-- just long enough that I can find somewhere else and know where I'm going with my life.

This is my diary. I have a journal on LiveJournal, but that's become an uninviting place for me to write personal entries. Here, I feel more free to do so. Perhaps this is because I know only people who care enough not to hold anything against me anyway would go out of their way to read this. I'm not sure. Regardless, it's good to be back.

Feel free to drop me a note if you'd like to. I'm pretty friendly. If not, that's fine, too. I don't mind having silent readers. The whole comment counting thing is something I want to get away from anyway.
